Telehealth

Are you practicing responsible social distancing or are you quarantined and cannot come into the clinic for your physical therapy?  Do you have questions about your injury, symptoms or action plan? Do you need guidance or clarification to perform or progress your home program or to prevent loss of improvement?

While Graham Physical Therapy remains open to provide in-person therapy, we are also offering Telehealth services to our patients that cannot or should not leave home to come in to an office.  Telehealth is a remote therapy session that uses a phone or computer, where you can interact live with your physical therapist.

How It Works:

Your therapist will send you an email and you simply click to connect via a HIPAA compliant link. Medicare and many commercial insurers are now encouraging telehealth visits for their members and beneficiaries.  Many are reducing/waiving patient cost-shares, to facilitate your continued care.

Benefits of a Telehealth Treatment Session:

  • Reduce your risk of exposure to illness and maintain physical distancing
  • Discussion of/screening of aches, pains or symptoms and determine the appropriate plan of action
  • Guidance toward self-driven pain modification strategies
  • Guided prescriptive exercises to maintain or progress home programs
  • Guided strength and balance training
  • Ergonomic assessment and training to ensure that your environment is conducive to your health
  • Reduce burdens on primary care physician offices, urgent cares and hospitals during this critical time for musculoskeletal issues

TESTIMONIALS

“Telehealth PT with Jen provides a much needed relief from teaching and conducting meetings through Zoom. After the session of well-selected and sequenced exercises, I felt instantly refreshed and energized to continue my day at home and in front of the computer.”

“Grateful to have the tele opportunity to continue to work on the progress on my back, which is important in the current situation with less movements, and to continue to expand my lungs capacity. Also it’s good to explore this opportunity to use for the future while traveling. Very good IT solution used.”
Evgenia S.

“I’m used to teleworking, because I telecommute 100%, but I was still dubious about my son doing therapy remotely. As it turned out, the experience was fun and the time flew by. Jen is very observant even when watching a patient via video, so she was able to correct positioning easily. There was no downtime because she was thoroughly prepared. My son seemed to enjoy his telehealth appointment even more than his in-person appointments!”

“I’ve now had 3 telemed sessions with Jen Graham, whose acute attention to detail allows her to catch the smallest of my movements, which she explains and demonstrates for my correction. Plus she is very creative in identifying home products that I can use as props, which makes me more confident in my self-monitoring between sessions. I’m finding this platform to be very helpful in progressing with my PT during the expected prolonged time we must stay at home.”
