Before & After Photos

The results demonstrated in all photographs posted, are unique to each patient/client’s curve/anatomy/application of exercise/compliance with home program.  The photographs posted should not be interpreted as a guarantee of result. The photographs on the left are the before and the comparison is placed to the right.

When viewing the photographs of the front, look for the alignment of the pelvis, the changes in the arm to body windows, the height of the shoulders, the position of the shoulder blades (winging versus not winging). Compare any areas of trunk prominence and concavity between the two photographs. Look for improved symmetry and improved spine alignment.

BEFORE

Compare the hip alignment vertically in comparison to the shoulders between each photos, and notice the increase in balance in the second photo. View the contour of the torso or outline of the torso in comparison to the arms, also the arm to waist angles and notice the improved symmetry.

If you note the landmarks from a frontal view, compare the height of the shoulders between each other and in comparison of before and after. Compare the vertical line of the head, breast bone and navel. Compare the shape of the rib cage and the tone of the abdominal wall.

View the contour of the torso or outline of the torso in comparison to the arms, also the arm to waist angles and notice the improved symmetry. If you note along the spine you can begin to identify increased symmetry in muscle tone and body landmarks.

SAME DAY!!! This photo was taken exactly 1 hour after the first photo was taken on the same day of service. These were also taken on the first date of physical therapy services. Notice the alignment improvement, and symmetry.

AFTER

When viewing the photographs from the side view, look for a vertical plumb line or the line which bisects the feet, hips, shoulder and ear.  Also, when viewing the side view note the position of the pelvis, abdomen, chest, shoulder and head alignment.

BEFORE

Compare the alignment of the upper body and how it sits on top of the hips. Then, compare the changes in the rib cage and torso at the front and the back of the body. Lastly, compare the position of the abdominal wall.

Compare the rib cage or back of the body between the two photos. Compare the position of the shoulders, the head in relation to the shoulders and the shoulder blades. Notice the slightest changes.
