Amanda Marie Maria, Patient Care Coordinator, Administrative Assistant
Amanda Maria is a mother of 3 of her biggest achievements, two daughters and a son. She is the Patient Care Coordinator for Graham Therapy and Fitness, P.A.. She has been part of the local DC metro community and is a graduate of Albert Einstein High School, Class of 1997. In her education, she was active in her school community and sports. She remains active in the school community with her Son, which allows her to understand the requirements of scheduling school-aged children. She has a unique ability to orchestrate the schedule to maintain and advocate for the consistency of care for each individual patient and family that comes through the door.
As an adolescent, she was given the opportunity first to volunteer, and then later to work as an administrative assistant at a Chiropractor’s office close to home. She progressed to the role of front desk manager and later clinic assistant. As the eldest of 6 children, her strong work ethic allowed her to assist her belated mother, in caregiving for her family while at a young age. Her caregiver qualities come forward through her role at Graham Therapy and Fitness, P.A. as the Patient Care Coordinator.
With continued experience, her passion for Chiropractic Care, and learning how amazing the human body was, continued to grow. She later became certified as a CA- Chiropractic assistant, where she was able to utilize all that she had learned through the years in conjunction with her certification. In addition, she learned what customer service and patient care were at each level. This included the inner workings of running a successful high patient volume practice on a daily basis. Currently, at Graham Therapy and Fitness, she embraces the high-quality care provided in the one-on-one formated appointments.
In addition to her passion for health awareness, she has a real passion for helping people in general. In 2014, she started her own multiple-service company, where she would be able to offer additional assistance to her community. She remains an advocate for public health awareness, and the importance of self-care.
As Patient Care Coordinator, Amanda Maria has the local awareness of both the community in general and the school-aged community as well. Additionally, she has the experience of caregiving on a personal level and professionally. She also has the unique insight of working while personally co-existing with a Seizure disorder. She is passionate about health and self-care. She is the Patient Care Coordinator who takes time to listen to each patient and assist them with ensuring that they obtain the consistency of care required, to progress them in their physical therapy plans of care.
Amanda is multi-faceted and also holds the following certifications: Maryland Notary Public, Signing agent/closing agent, Marriage Officiant, Bi-Lingual, and an Immigration Document translation specialist.
