Scoliosis, or curvature of the spine, often occurs when children are just entering puberty, which is a stressful enough time without also having to deal with a physical limitation. Physical therapy is very useful for scoliosis patients and treating Scoliosis is our specialty!

The Schroth Method is a specialized treatment method which addresses the scoliosis and kyphosis curvatures through exercises to strengthen or lengthen asymmetrical muscles in a scoliotic body. We are one of the few practices in the world that provide the Schroth Method.

We offer personal training to individuals who have reached their potential in physical therapy and are ready to switch to a more aerobic environment. Each training is customized to your specific needs and goals and delivered by a certified instructor and trainer.

What Bethesda Thinks About Graham Therapy & Fitness

Jennifer is a fantastic physical therapist. For years, I’ve had shoulder, hip and foot pain—all on my right side. Well, what do you know? I have mild scoliosis that’s never been diagnosed and I’m 43! Jennifer has been incredibly helpful in treatment and also teaching me the right way to stand and walk for my condition. I would highly recommend her to anyone—and best of all, she’s a lot of fun!

Ahava L.

I came to Graham after attempting correction of my Kyphosis with yoga and another PT. My acupuncturist had said that PT wouldn’t help the condition, and the prior PT I consulted, said that there was a chance that I could obtain a 20% correction with their organization.

I worked with Jennifer over a 4 month period, and obtained a correction of over 50%. I no longer engage in yoga, acupuncture or PT, and after 1 year, I remain free of pain, provided I continue some of the exercises she taught me.
