Equipment List: Schroth Immersion Patients only – copy

All patients are welcome to perform their own research and purchase these items wherever they like.

  • Stall Bars or similar set up (Required):
    • Installed prior to the completion of the Schroth immersion
    • Shipping and installation may take weeks please plan with this time frame in mind.
    • Please follow manufacturer’s instructions for proper installation.

                 

  • Chin Up Bar (For Travel / Alternative to Stall Bars)

  • Bar for Doorway (Alternative to Stall Bars)

  • Strap (Required):
    • Similar to a dog leash with a D or O ring at one end, and a loop handle at the other will be needed.

  • Yoga Belt (1 Needed):
    • Approximately 1½ inch wide cloth;
  • Yoga Block (2 Needed):
      • Approximately 9” x 5”;

  • Wood Poles (2 Needed):
    • Similar to dowel curtain rods.
    • 1 ¼ “ diameter closet poles, 7-8 feet.
    • Rubberized feet tips to place at ends.
  • Bean Bags (6-10 Needed) (Required):
    • DIY, If you sew:
      • Fill: 1 cup of rice, Width:12 cm Length: 17 cm
    • DIY, if you don’t sew:
      • Fill a resealable environmentally friendly sandwich snack bag full of 1 cup of rice, seal bag and place in a clean bobby sock or ankle height sock
    • Material: thin cloth (similar to a top bed sheet)

      

  • Step stool (Required):
    • Approximately: 15.75 inch length, 10 inch depth, 8 to 8.5 inches high;
  • Mirrors (Need 2-3) (Required):
    • One wall-mounted behind the stall bars;
    • One portable, light-weight full length mirror (48 inches by 12 inches), which will be moved to accommodate different exercises,
    • One vertical to the right of the stall bars in most cases or can use portable mirror depending on preference.
      • Mirrors of this type may be found at any of the large hardware chain stores.
      • If you prefer not to do this yourself, your local glass company should be able to do it for you.
  • “Lumbar Extender” (1 Needed):

  • Half-round foam roller  (1 Needed):

  • Stretch out stretch strap (2 Needed):

  • HemingWeigh Foam Mat or other similar mat (Recommended, but Optional)

  • Mobilization Wedge (Optional)

 

  • Stability Ball – 65cm or 75cm
    (Size will be determined once in the immersion process)

  • Strap with a handle loop at one end and a D or O ring at the other end which is between 4-6 inches in length, or dog leash 12-15 inches in length with a D or O ring at one end
  • Balance Pad (Optional)
  • Oblong carabiner (Recommended, but Optional)
  • Dycem or other non slip grip type material to enhance grip on bars (Optional)

  • Mobilization Balls (Both Sets are Recommended)

      

  • Mini Ball

  • Exercise Bands
